Of course it pisses on their experience. They can't police or control it for themselves. That's always the theme of these types of posts. "omg special snowflakes suck, fandom isn't my sekrit nerd club anymoar!" Because clearly no one else who WANTS to be included and not made to feel like shit about who they are could NEVER be a real nerd.
