How about a little more description? (Never heard of it.)

It's narrated by an AI on a space station. The MC just woke up on the station with complete amnesia, and the AI is trying to convince him/her that everything's alright and it's okay to forget and it's not alarming that they've lost contact with Earth. It's got a sense of humor that reminds me of Portal, only less sarcastic and more Orwellian. I tried one episode and got bored.

The main character actually is the AI.
I listened to the whole thing, but I can't say it ever really "grabbed" me. The register that Sayer talked in was hard for me to make out words

I've recced it before on here. It is a 44 episode podcast series. From iTunes: "SAYER is a narrative fiction podcast set on Earth’s man-made second moon, Typhon. The eponymous SAYER is a highly advanced, self-aware AI created to help acclimate new residents to their new lives, and their new employment with Ærolith Dynamics."

I loved it. You should really listen to it in order. It has some pretty dark humor (which I am a huge fan of). Don't look up any spoilers on it because the last part of the series really kicks off in a crazy way. Most of the series are one shot episodes but there is an overarching theme that slowly reveals itself.

Do you know if there are transcripts anywhere? It sounds like something I'd like but I have issues with podcasts and audiobooks.

Thank you so much for correcting that. That's one of my biggest grammar pet peeves.

I often find myself wishing this had the same level of fandom as a lot of other podcasts, or at least enough for there to be fans dedicated to transcribing the episodes. I loved it while it was still airing, but felt like I never had anyone to talk to about it and no way to rec it to my friends because the ones that would like it have auditory disabilities.

I guess fandoms just don't go for the super-dark comedy unless there are characters to ship.
