Are you sure? A thought Alie 1.0 detected the global radiation levels were still rising and needed to upload us all into a post-singularity matrix in order to preserve humanity?

She caused the situation to exist in the first place though so I'm not sure it's 'our own' stupidity. Plus the way she was going about it was hardly good.

Well, the whole point of the story was that she was wrong but I guess if you think we should be wiped out then there's not much I can say to that one.
