His comment definitely made me cringe, but honestly, it seems exactly like the kind of dumb shit that falls out of people's mouths when they're distracted and uncomfortable and trying to play it cool in front of an audience. Is it sexist? Yes. But I don't know a person alive - my female, feminist self included - who hasn't said some dumb sexist thing at some point without thinking.

I'm neither a Criss fan nor a Glee fan, but it would take more than that to get me to write someone off. If you actually asked him whether he thinks men deserve hot women to do chores for them just by virtue of being men and he said yes, that would be one thing. But what I heard was Criss trying to say something to appease a fan who was being rude and inappropriate towards him, and sticking his foot deeply into his mouth.

The problem is, this isn't the only shit he's said. He's consistently gross and fans wanna pretend like he's just some poor misguided soul and like he didn't mean it every time something new pops up.
