Don't stop looking! It may take a while but you should never give up.

Is your job in a field you're most passionate about? Because even if the pay is shit, enjoyment means so much more.
My current job pays much less than my previous one, but I'm enjoying it so much I don't think I'll ever want to retire. And tbh I think it's opened more doors for me than I even know.
