What would you think about to conjure a patronus?

What's your happiest memory, babies?

I thought about cuddling with my nephew and reading a book with him.

...I don't know.

...well now I'm looking back at my life and wondering what's wrong with me lol

Same here! When they asked me to think of something during the test I was like "Uh... nothing in recent memory?"

Maybe beating my favorite video game, which a lot of people would frown on as a "happiest memory," but honestly my life isn't super happy.

Yeah :/
I mean I don't think my life is super sad, thankfully I'm pretty fine, but I guess I don't have those kind of stand-out "happy memories". Especially not on demand...

Me too. I do remember casual happy moments but nothing stand out as happiest, as least not one I remember. I just clicked randomly on things I may like and got a white stallion.

When I got sworn into the bar. Or the first time I sat in on an immigration hearing for a case I had worked on.

I don't really have much of those in the sense that the're completely untainted by context of what just went before or after.

I guess there's this one afternoon where my ex sort of fell asleep half sprawled on top of me and it was sort of...peaceful. I might pick that.

Tried to think of one, drawing a blank =/

I don't have one. I can point to periods in my life that were probably 'happiest', and I have happy memories, but to single out one moment is a weird idea. I'm usually too caught up in the moment to properly remember it (years) later. Or it's too banal. Or it's become a tad bittersweet.

Now the worst memory of my life, that I can do.

Probably the night I got engaged.

Alternatively, when I was 8 or 9 or so my 3-4 year old cousin fell asleep on top of me on Christmas while I sang to her really quietly. This was right before a lot of bullshit in our family, and it was such a perfectly peaceful moment.

when I was a kid and my sister and I used to play a stupid game of pretend and our dog played with us. I always smile when I think about those memories.

This could have been written by my brother. I'm smiling so big because this would do it for me too.

That was one of my questions, so I was thinking about the first time it was just me and the dog in the woods playing fetch in a damn, her face was so ridiculous and she was so happy.

I really don't know.

It's not that I don't have happy memories, I just don't know if I'd be able to hold onto them long enough in order to be able to actually conjure a patronus.

(Though if you could conjure a patronus through sheer stubbornness I could manage that).

The day I bought my horse, Sharif. It's been 18 years since then and I'm still stoked as hell that I own a horse as wonderful as him. ♥

Right now, honestly all I can think of is this very early moment with my boyfriend. We were in a friend's garage and all just been jamming and a bunch of neighbours came by to hear us and it WAS just the guys playing at first, but then he asked me to come sing one with him, and then I just kept singing with em until they legally had to stop playing to avoid noise complaints. The neighbours left, the friends all started heading inside to go through the house to the backyard, but my boyfriend stuck behind turning stuff off and unplugging things (I knew he was just all buzzy from the adrenaline of playing). I crept in behind him and tapped his shoulder, he threw his arms around me and kissed me and lifted me up, I tippy-toed backward to lean against the garage wall and pulled him up to box me in with his arms. He did. He kissed over to my neck and whispered "this is fucking crazy. I'm falling in love with you."

Mine is definitely when my fiancee told me she liked me the first time. I'd been pining over her for over a month, and right before she said it, I had a feeling she was going to but thought I was being too hopeful. Seven years later and it still makes me smile so big.

Home. I feel stuck in this country while I try to emigrate, so I don't know if I can go home for the holidays.

I really miss home.
