I'm 'kin, and sometimes I think that way too.
Think of it this way: if you WERE crazy, you wouldn't think to question the fact that you feel wings, a tail, or a beak.

I'm not otherkin, but I don't think it's any crazier of a belief than angels, demons, God, heaven, etc. etc. It's just that it's not something people have been taught to believe in for centuries, so it's OMG NUTJOBS.

My secret? I think otherkin are really interesting and it would be really awesome if it could be true. I don't like to discount anything that can't be disproved (which is most metaphysical and spiritual things).

Yeah, um, Otherkintards can be disproved.

Look at them. Do you see fairy wings? unicorn horns? Tails? Any other magical parts? No? Were their parents human? Yes? Then they're human. End of story.

Humans that need to get themselves the fuck into therapy, but yes, humans. Sorry.
