Usefulness does not necessarily mean combat power. Here, the OP seems to be using it in terms of plot usefulness. And we have to admit, Sakura's screentime-to-accomplishments ratio is way the hell off.

Still, the fact that the OP is telling people, "You shouldn't like Sakura because I say so," is pretty much full of utter fail. Everyone is allowed to have whomever they choose for a favorite character. It would be like someone telling me I'm not allowed to have Luffy as my favorite OP character, simply because he's the main character. Thanks, but I'll like who I like. And, if you think otherwise, GTFO.

And calling Sakura "useless" proves that the OP either hasn't read the manga too far, or is deliberately ignoring some pretty big leaps of character growth. Also, "plot growth" and Hinata do not belong in the same secret. I love Hinata, but come on.

The whole secret is basically the OP saying, "You're Wrong for Liking Sakura Because I Say So." The OP gives no "proof" that the characters they lists are better than her. And really, they can't, because "better character" is a matter of opinion. I feel that Sakura is better than anyone from Firefly simply by default (because I hated that show), but that doesn't make it true. It's only my thought on the matter, and I'm sure there's plenty of people who'd tell me I was wrong.

Sakura is plot-relevant, too. People would be dead if not for her, and that includes Sasuke and Naruto (fans always forget her whole big "cut-my-hair-and-my-fears" scene was due to the fact that she was defending their prone, unconscious bodies). And while Kishimoto obviously favors male characters, Sakura is always the one female he never forgets or ignores.

Any way you slice it, OP fails.

The OP reads pretty clearly as 'my bias against these fans, let me show it to you anon because it's obviously not socially acceptable', as opposed to 'worst character ever, all her fans are idiots'.

Also, psst:

She didn't do shit to defend them. It looked like she was about to finally contribute in that scene, and it was going to be awesome. But no, she went down in half a second, and then other people (Team Eight? I think?) showed up to do her job for her. it took any chance she had of being useful out at the knees. =/

Never said that the OP said her fans were idiots. Where did I? But it's still a secret saying "Sakura is a Bad Character Because I Say So." The End.

She didn't do shit to defend them. It looked like she was about to finally contribute in that scene, and it was going to be awesome. But no, she went down in half a second, and then other people (Team Eight? I think?) showed up to do her job for her. it took any chance she had of being useful out at the knees. =/

*LOL* What? Apparently, not being able to take out three people by yourself, particularly one who looks to have a bloodline limit, is not "contributing." I'll remember that. Sakura deliberately allowed herself to become a kunai pincushion in that scene in a desperate attempt to protect Sasuke and Naruto.

And no, Team Eight pretty much did not do the job for her, since they got their asses handed to them, as well. And Team Eight were completely intact and unscathed at the beginning of the fight, mind you, whereas Sakura was alone and partially beaten when she tried to hold her own.

It was Neji and Tenten showing up, and Neji scaring the crap out of the Sound Ninja that made them go away.

And that still doesn't negate the fact that older!Sakura can fight with the big boys now. They've already said multiple times in the series that (and shown it), regardless that she has no special demon inside her body (like Naruto), has no super-duper bloodline limit (like 80% of the cast, including Sasuke), she'll still become a better, stronger ninja than Tsunade, the current Hokage.

So, um, useless? No.

No, it looks like it's saying "I have a bias against people that thing Sakura is the bee's knees" to me. It even admits in the opening that the secretmaker recognizes it as elitist and dumb.

*LOL* What? Apparently, not being able to take out three people by yourself, particularly one who looks to have a bloodline limit, is not "contributing." I'll remember that. Sakura deliberately allowed herself to become a kunai pincushion in that scene in a desperate attempt to protect Sasuke and Naruto.

I agree that there's no realistic way she could have won that. But the whole scene came off as rather pathetic because immediately, like pretty much the PANEL after she said she was going to protect Naruto and Sasuke, she got her ass beat. And then other characters showed up to save the day, rendering her contribution to the scene utterly redundant. You could write it out and things could not change significantly. Which is the problem

Right, right, not Team Eight. My memory of that scene after the hair-cutting is pretty hazy, I frequently make that mistake. But whatever, the point is the same either way.

They've already said multiple times in the series that (and shown it), regardless that she has no special demon inside her body (like Naruto), has no super-duper bloodline limit (like 80% of the cast, including Sasuke), she'll still become a better, stronger ninja than Tsunade, the current Hokage.

Good for her, but that doesn't have much of any bearing on how useful a character she actually is.
