Okay, LOL at the fact that Vivi, Ms. Mary-Sue-Incarnate is on your list of girls better than Sakura. Sakura is all right, she's not my favorite, but your list sucks. Robin and Nami are awesome, but Katara, Azula? HINATA???

Uh....what's wrong with Katara or Azula?

I find them both pretty annoying, but then again I'm not an avid Avatar watcher. I haven't watched the show in over a year, I think it's been. I'm sure they've become more awesome since then.

They've...both been pretty awesome from the start. Especially Azula. Katara did have sort of a rocky start but by the time Azula popped up she was in fighting form.

I really hated Azula and her screechy voice. It was around the time she popped up that I stopped watching.

...Grey DeLisle has a screechy voice? I mean, if you don't like it OK, tastes and all, but...screechy? I cannot think of a term that describes her voice less.

IAWTC. Seems like this person is just randomly picking aspects to validate her dislike of a character.

Dude, if anything, Azula's voice would be described as husky. Sometimes it's hard to remember that you're listening to a 14 year old character. But Azula's like that in many ways. I doubt there are many 14 year old girls who could make me rock in my closet, muttering, "No, miss, the waves do not command this ship. The waves do not command this ship! You run this ship, yes, ma'am, yes."

Also, I can't believe I missed this the first time around Vivi is a Mary Sue incarnate wtf? Nothing could possibly be farther from the truth.

I'm seriously curious, though. What about her makes you think that she's a Mary Sue? The only thing I can think of is that she was accepted into the crew really quickly, but uh so has every single other character ever.

All I have is this chapter of this fic (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2897068/3/Parodies_of_the_One_Piece_Kind). And I know that's a cop out, but it's been a long time since I thought about Vivi and I didn't dislike her arc. I watched (via the godawful 4Kids dub, mind you) and I thought to myself, "Hmm. She's kind of Sue-ish. On to Sky Island!"

You dislike a character because of a fic chapter and a butchered dub you haven't watched in ages? You judge her as a Mary Sue and a terrible character just because...what, she doesn't personally appeal to you? And you can't stand Katara or Azula for reasons you have yet to explain.

The problem is that you claimed that she was a Mary Sue character. If you had only said that you disliked her character people wouldn't be so peeved.

Of course you can dislike a character. I never said you couldn't. But if you're going to go around saying "Character A is a giant Mary Sue", I am going to ask you to explain this, and if I made a similar statement, I would expect to be asked about it as well and would have a ready reply. There's nothing wrong with simple disliking a character for no particular reason, but declaring Vivi a Mary Sue in order to justify or explain your dislike for her is both erroneous and plain silly.
