Dahlia/Iris, for clarification.

And that's another thing. How do you even go about getting someone to RP something like that with you when you've never RPed and are basically flailing about in the dark?

I, uh, actually don't have a ton of fandom friends. I tend to stay fairly quiet, except in anonymous places like the Kink Meme. But I'll see...

Which of the twins, you mean? I hadn't decided. I like Dahlia because I feel like a D/I scenario affords her an opportunity to be... kind of human? In spite of the fucked-upedness, Iris really cares about her sister, and I think that gives her the opportunity to be saved, somewhat, from the total evil we get at the end of 3-5 -- because I think if Dahlia could ever give a damn about anyone, it would be Iris.

On the other hand, I like Iris because of the way she cares, and there's interesting psychology in the idea that, if they were that close, Iris wouldn't let go, no matter how Dahlia hurts her. She's loyal like that. Also, she's the one with something to lose if the people close to her find out she's sleeping with her sister: Bikini, Pearl, Phoenix... And from a more practical standpoint, Dahlia tends to be the leader, so it would probably be easier for me to get my bearings as an inexperienced RPer if I went with Iris.

Typing that all out makes Iris appeal to me more, now.

That's interesting, and I think shows (to me, anyway) that you've put a lot of thought into this and definitely wouldn't just be RPing it "for the lulz" or anything. Heck, I'm kind of interested now, you've made it really intriguing :P

Regardless, I don't think you should be worried about offending the people in the DR with twincest. Which I don't think they'd be, anyway.

And yeah, I meant to say which OF the pair, but it was late >_>

I appreciate the vote of confidence. I think I may come up with another character to play for awhile, get used to RPing, try to make some friends, then head into the Dahlia/Iris. Hopefully. Maybe.
