I just think the issue is that Magnus was too creepy, with his menagerie of supernatural crap. He would have liked having Demon Dean as an exhibit, not as a mentee.

But you do you and want what you want.

It's not just fans projecting creepiness on the pairing; Dean came right out and told Magnus that he was creepy. And that was BEFORE Magnus used a spell to drain Dean's will.

But hey, write some nice fluffy consensual Dean/Magnus, I'm sure there are at least a few fans who will have been looking for exactly that. Or if you're not a writer-type, request it on a kinkmeme.
