I used to take some purely herbal pills for calming down and sleeping. Then it happened a few times that after they wore off in the middle of the night, I woke to a racing heart. Not just a little faster than usual, more like jackhammer-about-to-burst fast. Thought I was dying. That... wasn't fun. Haven't taken the pills since and it never happened again.
