Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. It was the coolest place we visited while there.

Isle of Whithorn in Scotland, it is just such a picture perfect little fishing village.

In different ways: Aquinnah and Menemsha, MA; St. Peter's Basilica, Westminster Abbey, a winter sunset in Harlem, and the Champs-Elysées.

I really like cliffside scenes like in that first link. It just looks...peaceful yet grand, somehow.

Nature? Grand Canyon national Park. Cities I'd say Prague and Budapest.

I'd say the Louvre and the British museum also deserve mentions because of the sheer beauty of art they have collected.

Maybe, the shibazakura (pink flower fields) at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan. That was truly extraordinary.

My hometown.

I've been to incredible places. I've seen many amazing sights. Just the more I travel the more I appreciate home.

I guess the prettiest thing I've ever seen in person was the aurora borealis, but that's not so much a place as a phenomenon...

I used to live near a nature preserve. We'd go over there for long walks in the woods. Place was fucking gorgeous in the autumn.

Nature-wise, the source of the Marne in France.

Building: the St. Wenceslaus chapel inside the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. We were lucky enough to have a tour guide who was able to get us inside the chapel (most people can only walk past the entryway) and see the amethyst inlaid in the wall up close.

Toss up between Eagles Nest in Germany or Dragon Falls in Japan.

Swiss Alps.
Also the Miramare Castle gardens in Trieste, Italy.
Grotta Gigante (Giant Cave) in Trieste, Italy.
Mount Washington, New Hampshire.

Either Manuel de Antonio or Monteverde in Costa Rica. Close second would be the New River Gorge in West Virginia, but that might also be some nostalgia speaking :)
