36. OH GOD. I MISS OLD ZIM FANDOM SO MUCH. I used to write for it, but I didn't get into it towards the end of the "golden age" so to speak, and everyone was a billion times better than I was anyway, BUT THE OLD STUFF. IT WAS SO GOOD. Some of the best drama fic I've SEEN came from that fandom. Man. Too bad I can't touch the new!Zim stuff with a ten foot pole now. Why, oh why does Hot Topic destroy things?

I guess I've partly just moved on, sigh, and mostly lost interest in what the rest of that fandom is doing. It's still pretty awesome how intense and dramatic the BNFs of the day made the fic, though, given that the show was so ridiculously over the top and dramatic.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same thing for me. I can't bring myself to go back because I just sigh and go "WHERE DID THE GOOD THINGS GO?" and that's no fun. The fic was all SO WONDERFUL. I remember when Raina and Lurker were updating too. ...lol I remember when I updated. XD;
But I agree completely - all of the drama was so intense and wonderful. Throw in the BNFs who could keep things funny too and we had a glorious fandom, once upon a time. Sigh~ ♥
