That's not true. Sure there are some people who label themselves anti SJW when they are actually anti SJ, just like some misandrists pretend to be feminists, but SJW are fucking disgusting and scum and they deserve to be hated and anyone with half a brain is anti them. I'm tired of those bastards harassing people, sending death threats and gore, doxxing, encouraging suicide, accusing people of pedophilia and other nasty things (all of these are things happening in the fandom I'm currently in, not talking out of my ass) just because someone is drawing art of a ~problematic~ ship. Fuck SJWs.

I wanna say Voltron fandom, but it could be any fandom. The problem is more that people like that are extremists. :/ Like it's okay to think gay marriage is awesome, that oppressed people need more platforms on which to speak in society, that trans people deserve to be treated right, etc, without being....whatever it is those people turn into. They're just as bad as the anti-SJW types that ChardMonster is talking about, because they're extremists.

SU, MLP, even Naruto of all fandoms. I've seen this shit like crazy and all I wanna do is ship my ships and they can fuck off.

SJWs doing all of this? I have never heard of that. I'm not trying to be contrary but that's crazy. Usually, I hear the anti-SJWs doing this.

SJWs may be doing some of those things, but they sure as hell ain't sending people gore lol.

I've seen it, a lot. I'm sure there's good and bad people on both sides, but I've personally seen a lot more bullying coming from the SJW side. It's gotten to the point that I'm leery of befriending someone online who is openly a feminist - everyone I know and like at all in real life is one, but the people who get loud about it online are the ones far more likely to turn on me if I ever disagree with them. I can't handle the suicide requests - I'm afraid I might give in. So I just stay away.

And yeah, I know not every feminist is a bully. But I just can't cope with the sjw bullies.

I don't think these people are 'SJWs' but more assholes, if this is the case.
I'm a proud Social Justice Warrior. I love that term. To me, it just means I hold society responsible for some of its crap. If someone is being a sexist/racist/homophobic idiot, yes I'll call them out on it.
When it comes to fandom, I'm very much YKINMK. I never call someone out on a 'problematic pairing' or even fic because it's all fiction.
The problem is SJW is now the label for anyone who calls out bullies online. Some youtuber writes some obnoxious racist comment, people call them out for it and they are instantly labelled a SJW.
I say fuck that. The bullies are just doing what they want because no one is calling them out on it.
I think it's very close minded of you to label all SJWs in such fashion.
By calling us all 'fucking disgusting and scum and deserve to be hated' aren't you just as bad as those you hate?
Also what are these 'misandrists' that pretend to be 'feminists' saying exactly? I'm just intrigued. If it's literally 'I hate men, men are all scum etc' then fair enough.

Even if you don't agree with it, their comment deserves a better response than this. If you're the sort of person who automatically discredits other people's expressed experiences simply because you disagree with them, it doesn't surprise me that you view every anti-SJW person you meet as horrible.

I don't 100% agree with the person who replied to you. I don't hate SJW type people, so much as I find their behavior extremely frustrating and saddening. I don't think they're all "scum" or what have you.

But a lot of the things AYRT has experienced or witnessed SJWs doing are things I have also witnessed, many of them on numerous occasions involving different people each time.

Social justice, especially on the internet, has a problem. Social justice radicals who think in black and white, all-or-nothing, enlightened-or-scum terms are that problem. That's not to say they are somehow worse than the racist/misogynist/homophobic/etc people they are fighting against. It's simply to say that two wrongs don't make a right, and that I have seen more than a few SJWs who are every bit as filled with hatred and intolerance as the people they're fighting against.

I don't know man at some point I realized I'm a thirty fucking year old woman and I'm not going to spend my time yelling at teenagers on Tumblr who are being radicals about Doing The Right Thing as all good people seem to do at some point.

Please look in the mirror and wonder why you are spending your time yelling at teenagers. They really are teenagers, most of them. Okay some are like... twenty one? Not far.

Second: if you look at extremism in the name of equality as JUST AS BAD as people who think ironic racism is funny and decry any and all attempts to make society better as the same sort of thing... I sincerely doubt you give much of a damn about inequality in the first place.

And seriously, if you think ironic racism as a dumb joke is as bad as (for example) trying and almost succeeding to bully other young people into committing suicide for doing something "problematic" and excuse it with "oh but they're just kids", you are a rotten person without any sense of proportion. So fuck off yourself, the shit a lot of SJWs do is not nearly as cute and harmless as you pretend. But maybe you're just wilfully ignorant.

Also: if you don't understand that the people bullying young people into suicide over "problematic" stuff are anything approaching a significant number--and you don't realize that "bullying people into suicide" is a horrible thing that seems to transcend every cause, people get told to kill themselves just over not being pretty let alone all the anti-SJW folks who love doing that shit--i sincerely doubt you actually care about the suicide stuff. I think it's just a way for you to gain points for whatever bullshit team you're playing for while ignoring what your own team does.
