Re: What is something you bought that was a waste of money?

I was obsessed with collecting Beanie Babies when I was a kid. For like three years during the height of the Beanie Baby craze, they were the only thing I asked for as gifts. Collecting them made me happy at the time, so I guess it wasn't a complete waste. But I probably ended up with at least a thousand dollars worth of Beanie Babies. Which then promptly became worthless when the market became oversaturated with them.

As a teen I bought an expensive digital camera. I thought I was going to get into photography as a hobby. But I never did, and the camera became extremely outdated within a year or so.

This year I bought a pair of One Teaspoon shorts. They were like $85 CAD, and now I feel like they're too short (they show cheek) and I'm uncomfortable wearing them. They look AMAZING on all the fashion bloggers who own them, and I'm tall and skinny so they probably look about the same on me (thought not as stylish because I am not a fashion blogger). But all the same, I don't like my ass hanging out of my shorts. :(
