It's a fun show!

I feel I must have a very different idea of "cute" than a lot of people. This art doesn't strike me as cute at all, but actually, actively ugly - like it's drawn intentionally ugly. I guess the show itself may or may not give off a cute vibe. But I wish more western kids' cartoons actually had aesthetically cute designs.

ayrt Yeah, same. and things like Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, etc. When they are drawn specifically to look goofy, it's just not cute to me. I guess I'd rather watch prettier, more "realistic" (loosely speaking) looking cartoons.

I kind of agree. I really dislike the aesthetic of a lot of Western cartoons nowadays. They're just not nice to look at, imo.
Gravity Falls was okay, but even that I wasn't wild about.

Back in the '80s, we had beautiful and detailed animation that went off model if the budge lagged. Now we have simple animation that's easy to keep on-model, but looks butt-ugly.

Very true. In retrospect, I think this change in the 90s was a big factor in driving me into the arms of anime - I wanted to look at the pretty drawings, and I found subtitles less annoying than ugly faces.

Though the feet are really weird, kind of like Sonic characters.

I thought the clip I saw of the overprotective m/m couple was sweet but yeah, I can't deal with that style of animation in large amounts.

B-But OP, don't you know that if you pitch a show by saying it has something progressive in it, that means it's a boring show and the progressiveness is the ~only~ thing that's good about it?!

I've only seen mention of this show on my dash once, before it started airing I think, and it was a synopsis that sounded like every character was a stereotype that I'm super tired of. So if it's not, OP, feel free to pitch it to me (and tell me where I can watch it)!

The characters are based on stereotypes, but they go beyond them. It's a simple slice of life show. I think it's funny and cute. If you like family fluff, you'll like this. There's a lot cute bonding moments between the siblings.

If it counts for anything, this is the show that makes Know Your Meme's collective pants tight. They make a lot of porn, jokes, and porny jokes about Lincoln having sex with his sisters.
