That's good. I actually like the score better than the songs, though. The score of Lion King is perfection. I just hope they get someone good to do the score for this one.

Given the track records of remakes now a days, they're going to mess it up.

Don't fix something that's not broken and leave Lion King alone.

I'm only ever watching it for Jeremy Irons and the hyenas to be honest. >.> Though I liked 1 & 1/2.

Why are they reimagining so many shows? Most of them only in the past couple of decades. I would have thought reimagine the older ones that perhaps are not aging so well.

Are they doing a straight adaptation of the movie with all animals, like a bunch of Aslan-CG lions running around singing, or is it going to be like Broadway with humans in animal motif tribal masks?

Disney World had a puppet show back in the late 90s called The Legend of the Lion King.

I assumed it would be like the recent 'Jungle Book' remake though I could be wrong.
