I really wish that people weren't going to have terrible fights and be angry about shit at work

But if you are going to do that, for God's sake, don't do it at fucking 4:30. Have some decent j want to go hooooome and not watch people fight on Slack.

Please explain? How does a fight at work prevent you from going home (unless you're involved in said fight). What is Slack?

Slack is a popular program that a lot of companies use for internal communications. Basically a business-oriented chat client.

And the reason that it makes it difficult for me to leave (I am actually home now, for the record) is because, even though I wasn't in the fight, I was tangentially involved and it was between people on my team and I could easily get dragged into it, or asked a question, and I didn't want to leave in the middle of it.

Ah.

Glad you made it home! And ugh, that sucks. Usually things that prevent me from leaving is equipment failure, drug recalls, or last minute fuck ups that require urgent attention. :/

It's a workplace messaging service, sounds like anon might have been in a meeting or an online collaborative project?

Yeah, it was my boss and someone on my team arguing about something in the team channel that had to do with a project that we're all working on together, basically.
