So you want all the fame, glory, and be at the top of the field but don't want to put in the work to get there? Yeah good luck with that. Unless you are extremely lucky or born into the entertainment business you have to bust your butt to get anywhere. And even if you bust ass there is no guarantee that you will be successful. For every successful person in the business there are scores of people who never make it or who's career fizzles out after one film, one song, one tv spot, etc....

I work in the healthcare industry in Southern California. You'd be surprised (or not) at the number of nurses, respiratory therapists and other related types that were tired of trying to make it in show biz and are now working in the medical field. I can look up lots of my colleagues on IMDb.

yeah, like if you go out in weho almost every single waiter or bartender you meet is some kind of aspiring actor or screenwriter trying to make it. good to know they'll have good landing pads for when the biz doesn't pan out.
