My dad is such a cheapskate. He bought the cheapest GPS possible, and it is a useless hunk of junk. It got me lost twice going home because it decided I should be going a different route, one that isn't safe to drive at night, and kept telling me to turn at the wrong spots. It didn't get itself righted until I'd gotten myself back to my subdivision, at which point I didn't need it anymore.

Also, on a more petty rant, went to a Doctor Who thing, they had a trivia contest with prizes at the end. And I answered one of the questions first, but for some reason they gave the prize to someone else.

I would wager so many of those sorts of informal contests are pre-arranged, it would explain so much
