I don't mean in the "oooh you defended a girl on the internet you must wanna fuck her!" way.

I mean people with savior complexes. The issue is that

1. They always put themselves above the people they're "helping."
2. They are willing to treat the victim as less than equal in the name of preserving their feelings.

It's never about the victim's feelings. It's about the white knight wanting to be liked by any means necessary.
