It's meant for anyone who's seen Dark Matter through to season 2's finale. The still image shows the death of a rather popular guest star character named Nyx Harper.

She wasn't popular - she was a controversial Mary Sue who came in and promptly made the show about her and her super speshul powers. She seduced Four despite having no chemistry with him, and made even Two redundant with her "OMG SO AWESOME" fighting skills.
