Jewish New Year is on Sunday evening, so lots of cooking. It's going to be my first time hosting people for a holiday meal, and I'm pretty excited.

What are you cooking? Are there traditional dishes to make? Good luck on your first party. :D

ALL the dishes are traditional. Rosh Hashana is the day that we make tons and tons of traditional stuff and all of it is symbolic. I'm going with my family's tradition (Turkish), which features delicious things like pumpkin filo roll and fried leek patties.
I mean it would be a lot nicer if I didn't end up having to do a ton of the work all by myself... but better than not having a traditional meal.
