One of the ecosystem ecology guys at my school just straight-line sucks at lecturing: talks too fast, is barely audible, acts put-upon if you have a question, and for an answer, just repeats whatever he said that mystified you in the first place. I dealt with it by dropping the course because I couldn't face even one more hour of sitting in the front row trying vainly to make out what he was saying as he muttered at top speed into his beard.
