Re: Open endings

Oddly enough, due to the secret the other day, The Animorphs ending...kind of.

Like, I've had years since I finished the series to come to terms with it. Like, I see why people hate it, cause i did, too. Mainly for what they did to Ax. But I can now appreciate WHY it ended that way. They are/were vets of a silent, behind the scenes war for all of their teen years. The years where they are supposed to take their time to grow and basically get to know themselves, but they were forced to grow up very very fast. and they all handled that in various ways. Some better than others and, in the case of two of them, in the worst (or i guess best?) ways possible.

So, even though I would LOVE to see a resolution in some way (do they save Ax at all? can he even BE saved?), I'm fine with it's ending.
