Wine and craft beers.

Really though, given the choice between beer and wine I will go for wine every single time. I just love it. I shouldn't drink much of it, but oh man do I ever miss having someone around to split a lovely bottle of white with. It's just so versatile, you know?

You can find something super sweet and fruity, something crisp and floral, something dry and spicy like a punch in the face, or something that's somewhere in between. Some wines taste almost exactly like you're drinking pressed raspberries, others taste like pine needles or lemon peel or even garlic. It's just amazing.

The craft beers they had were sooo gross. They had a jalapeno one. Ugh. And the wine I liked was white (I think). I couldn't really taste the flavors the woman was going on about but I knew I liked it.

lol you kind of have to drink a lot of wine before it stops tasting like wine and you start being able to taste other things in the wine.

It's a bit like ...coffee or tea that way. Coffees can have really of distinct earthy/chocolate/caramel/cigarette notes; I once tried an Ethiopian coffee that was almost like drinking a mouthful of dirt, it was so earthy.

Some wines really punch you in the face though. I once had a wine that was so piney I was nearly convinced that someone had just dumped pine sol in a glass. Couldn't finish the bloody thing it was so strong.

Ugh. You reminded me of the coffee beer I had today. ughhhhhhh. /falls over

Yeah, there was some wine I had today that was gross as fuck. the guy said it was a really 'dry' wine.

Pretty sure dry wines are called dry because they leave your mouth feeling like you just ate sand.

I hate them.

Yeah, that is the impression I got. No idea what people like them. But to each their own.
