I drink beer and liquor and sometimes wine. Although I'm actually cutting back a little on account of I don't like hangovers and I'm trying to pick my spots more.

For beer, I like most things that aren't, like, super over-hopped or super intense - not really a fan of, like, triple stouts or double IPAs or all of that kind of thing.. For preference, a nice mellow ale or porter is great, but I'm fine with most things.

For liquor, I mostly drink whiskey, sometimes gin, occasionally tequila or vodka, never rum. For drinking whiskey, I like fairly sharp American bourbons most - my go-to standard is Old Grand-dad. For mixed drinks, I like relatively simple things, like Manhattans and Negronis.

For wine, I don't have much of a palate for it, which is nice since I don't have to be choosy. I don't drink wine that much - I'll have a red with dinner if I make pasta or a roast or something, and I'll have white wine on occasion when I'm relaxing. I have found that white wine and weed is a really pleasant, powerful combination, though. That's a good time.

Anyway yeah. Alcohol is cool.

It sure is! Just about any sort of alcohol has a synergistic effect with thc though, so you do want to go easy on both if you're imbibing and smoking at the same time. Just a little PSA, as it were.

Having experience with something doesn't make you immune to overdose.

You would have hated the beers I tried today. Except the key lime one which tasted like nothing.

Liquor is what I usually drink though I drink almost exclusively vodkas. I need to start drinking whiskey for when I have some kind of standoff with a cowboy. Can't go offering them vodka!

Yeah, when the lady today was describing the notes I should be tasting, I was like, "Yeah...sure...I bet some people can taste that."

I live in Oklahoma so meeting a cowboy during a standoff may not be too unlikely.
