After just Netflixing Gone With The Wind, I remembered how much I ship Rhett & Scarlett. They're horrible people and they're horrible for each other, but they do it for me. I love them.

I think the fact they're both horrible helps. If only one of them was, it wouldn't work.

Zucest.

All the incest pairings, come to think.

Sauron/Celebrimbor. Considering how it ends, no matter how you interpret it, it is pretty creepy.

Sauron/Maedhros. Completely a non-con ship. I don't believe a consensual version can e done. And I love it just for that reason.

Maedhros/Maglor. Brothers who are both really, really damaged. That's what makes it interesting to me. How damaged they both are.

Dean/Alistair. I think probably the only Supernatural thing I still actively ship.

Harry/Voldemort. I've gotten back into this ship, but only in the non-con sense. Yes, there is a pattern. I like creepy hero/villain ships. Also Harry/Lucius in a non-con sense is good.

Buffy/Angelus. With Angel, I can only ship him with Buffy and Spike together. But I can ship Angelus with Buffy alone. And also Spike and Dru too. Also Giles. So much creepy awesomeness.

Darken Rahl/Kahlan from Legend of the Seeker. I like fics that explore the AU where they are married. Creepy in fun ways.

Hux/Poe or Kylo/Poe. More creepy non-con. Hux and Kylo together with Poe is great too.

Those are the only ones I can think of now. But really, if there is a hero and a villain in a fandom I like, I probably would ship them.

Any Harry/Voldemort recs? I like that one too.

Will/Hannibal. Beecher/Keller. Harry/Snape. Ian/Mickey (from Shameless). Nite Owl/Rorschach. Love that fucked-upness.

Oh, I forgot Will/Hannibal. I really need to get around to watching Series 3. Such a messed up ship in all the best ways.

Ivy/Harley as the fucked up abusive mess it is.

Thor/Loki as straight-up messy incest, no pretending it's not(like the appeal for me is that it is incest, taking that away makes my interest go away).

Same with Nuada/Nuala too and all my other incest pairs as well.

And Reaper/Soldier76 hits all my buttons for a fucked-up hero/villain ship with lots of messy feelings between them due to past history.

I've probably got some more but that's all I can think of right now.

Littlefinger/Sansa. Only in the show though, not in the books.

Even fucked up ships that I like, I ship in a way that I think of as healthy and functional, or at least where the two people make each other better, so

Nada

Skyler White/Saul Goodman. "Yeah I pulled this ship outta that dumpster fire with my own two hands, pal, leave me alone" and so on.

sam/azazel, sam/lucifer, and dean/alastair

The villain of Erased likes to murder children and take photographs of them. The hero is the first person who ever realized there was a threat and saved his intended targets. The villain is utterly fascinated with him to the point of devoting his entire life to him, and would commit suicide without having him around to obsess over. Some of the fic is fascinating in a what-the-fuck kind of way.

and probably even more villains x protagonists. the closer they get to understanding/changing each other without the protagonist losing their way, the better.

GWtW is on Netflix?! OMG.

And, also, YES. They were terrible people in some ways, but when they allowed it, they kind of made each other better. Or more human. If only Scarlett had figured out Ashley wasn't what she wanted sooner, they'd have had a lovely time.
(And i'll never get over being angry at everyone for not letting Rhett in to see Scarlett when she fell, and was calling for him.....)

(Particularly the filmed live stage version, idk the movie dynamic is fine but I like them much better on stage)

I don't really ship it anymore, but back when it came out, The Dark Knight had some DELICIOUS fanfic that made me ship Batman/Joker in the most fucked up ways. LOVED THEM.

I ship a pair of brothers, but I don't really want to say who it is. This is the first time I've shipped an incest ship and it kind of worries me. :D

My head is blanking right now but I think most of them are from slash.
