I see what anon means I think, because there's a whole lot of "if you hate the person you CANNOT EVER like their work" out there. It goes both ways, too, in that there's the aspect where you acknowledge Mel Gibson's shitty behaviors, and yes they absolutely SHOULD be acknowledged, but then theres the whole "you can acknowledge shitty behavior but it's meaningless unless you also stop liking Mel Gibson's work", which is a lot harder to do. Idk, idk. I just think I see what anon means here.
