If you've been drinking, take a multivitamin and drink a glass of water before you go to bed.

I needed this advice last night! I drank water but didn't do anything to balance my electrolytes and such. I was better after like an hour laying in bed. My sister was not so fortunate.

Chai tea the next morning is a very excellent thing to drink for a hangover, IME.

I'll have to try that next time I get hungover. I think my sister has some I could borrow (she is a tea drinker).

I've never thought of taking a multivitamin, thanks for the tip!

Adding my tip: I find soup to be a great hangover food, gets something on the stomach and also gets some more water in you

I got a better one! There's this stuff called rehydration solution. there are recipes online how to make them yourself though the ones you get at pharmacies are better balanced in terms of additional different sugars and salts (like added potassium) and there's also vitamins in it.
take that stuff, and it nearly completely eliminates drymouth and any other symptom of dehydration you get from breaking down alcohol. my go to remedy after parties.

I can confirm this!

But I'd say two glasses of water, if you can stomach it.
