I was SO happy to see him pop up on Colbert's show the week of the RNC. That rant/speech he gave was so. damn. cathartic.

I know...There's a bunch of former TDS people out there and they dull the pain somewhat, but there's no one quite like Jon himself. I heard he had some sort of deal with HBO for limited online stuff or sth? Now would be an ideal time but I haven't heard about it in ages.

Yeah, John Oliver and Samantha Bee in particular seem to be carrying on Stewart's vocal passion quite nicely. But it's hard not to wonder what Stewart would have to say about all this craziness regardless.

I'd heard that about the HBO stuff, too, yeah. As far as I know all of that's a go, and I think it should be out sometime in the near future. I should look and see if there's been any further word on that part of things. I'd love to see what work he could do for HBO.
