I've never really paid much attention to possible het pairings or even yuri pairings in the series either. I mean, there's large age gaps everywhere and none of the students really seem to have much chemistry with most of the male cast. Okay, yes you've got Matoi's obsessive devotion to Itoshiki, and Kaere's epic fanservice, somehow Kiri has become a closeted sex kitten for Majiru... okay, forget that.

In the end, I'm just enjoying this series for it's comedy and eclectic characters. I could care less about shipping this person with that person. It doesn't up the fun factor for me. As far as I know, there's no double standard going on. Or I could just be blind to the whole thing. :/
