Now that you mention it, that is kind of weird. I assume they're setting up a while "The president has a drug-dealing son" subplot arc, but they already set that up in the first episode and they could show him being affected a bit for a while. I dunno, nothing particularly traumatic happened within my sphere when I was a teenager, so I don't know how a teen would react to something like that, anyway.
