My dog dying. My dad dying. This dumb fucking presidential race. Quitting the job I had for four years for a lower paying one (no regrets!). Clowns showing up, not yet in my town but in neighboring ones. Finding a group of people who I am super comfortable with (this is very unusual) and them actually calling me their friend omg.

Like. This year has had some small awesome moments and some very big, very lasting terrible ones.

Thanks. The dog died the week before my dad was diagnosed with cancer (and he died a month after the diagnosis) so they are linked together for me, even though obviously my dad's death is like, one billion times worse than the dog's.

Yeah, this year has sucked.
