(The Witch Spoilers VVV)

Same here, actually. Rather, I liked the coven scene itself, but it (and the scene where Caleb physically meets the witch in the woods) felt out of place in the context of the film. The movie would have had more of an impact for me if it had ended with Thomasin and the goat walking to the woods!

The ending surprised me because I felt like it went a little too far. Some endings are more effective if they don't show you everything.

I really felt that "I shall guide thy hand" was unquestionably the line to go out on. It was so awesome and creepy and despite the perverse sense of "girl power" that last scene gave it, i still think it was the creepiest note to go out on.

I....I liked it, to be honest. I swear I had never seen Thomasine look that happy even once at any other point in the movie

It completely changed the tone of the movie for me. I was unsettled and creeped out and in total awe...and then I just burst out laughing.

I got the impression Satan was showing himself as she wanted/expected him to look, and that the witch Caleb met also looked like that because it was what he would have heard stories of. I have no problem with the floating witches but I guess it looked a bit daft.

Yeah, that very last minute seemed out of place. I liked everything up to the floating-I felt like it should have just ended with her joining them in the circle, but minus the floating bit.
