Oh my God, thank you SO much. I admit, there was a time in high school when I hopped on the Wicked bandwagon and decided it was just, lyke, Z0MG TEH BESTEST THING EVAAA!11!

But then I remembered Les Mis. And Fiddler on the Roof. And basically anything Sondheim or Cole Porter. And suddenly it dawned on me how much it sucked.

Also, I swear, if I have to hear one more teenage "prima donna" screeching out "Popular," I will choke a bitch.

I totally loved it when I first heard the music and I was mad when Avenue Q won the Tony. Then I dug out my old Sondheim stuff and listened to Avenue Q obsessively and went "What the shit, Wicked is crap! Avenue Q, FTW!"

Have you heard the live version of Anyone Can Whistle with BERNADETTE PETERS and MADELINE KAHN? I love me some Lansbury, but shit is AMAZING.
