Ok, first off, I give a lot more understanding to people who are real. I am much more judgmental with fictional characters, and if that hurts their feelings, too damn bad. Oh yeah, no feelings to be had. They're not REAL, HA! So this is not my view of the world, but this is my view of the fictional world created in Heroes. So many characters make decisions that just Don't Make Sense, and are basically done for the purposes in the plot.

I get that Peter is a naive little bunny, but what did he forget that he could READ MINDS, and thus be sure whether or not Adam was evil? Plot Induced Stupidity. In fact, why deal with the locked vault, instead of walking through it? Plot Induced Stupidity. Why does Claire seemed shocked that HRG kidnapped people, and refused to talk to him about it? PIS. Oh, and the stunt with the cheerleader? Where she basically displayed her powers, and her boyfriend's powers, while undercover? PIS. Why did Mohinder, unsure of who to trust, spill all the beans to someone who he doesn't know he can trust!? PIS.

Some more people were dumb about stuff, but I sorta blanked out. Honestly, though, I'm willing to start with a clean slate next season, which I am looking forward to. I blame what the writers did to the characters, not the characters themselves. I think the writers just felt like they needed things to happen for their plot to work, and sacrificed the competency of their characters to do it. Which is unfortunate, because, despite the time travel and flying and Claire's hair, it's that which makes me no longer believe in the "reality" of the show.

Um, this, totally this. And 'plot induced stupidity' is a great phrase.
