* of conventionally attractive female characters and actresses
Fixed.

Most dominant male actors are conventionally attractive.

The guys that aren't might star in independent films but they're never going to get lead roles in a blockbuster. (And yes a lot of girls find men like Benedict Cumberbatch to be attractive.)

Conventional attractiveness matters, in terms of media and casting, less for men than for women, yes. But it does still mater for men. And I think it's possible that you're going to push it down to the level it matters for men, but I don't think you're ever going to push beyond that.

(also want to point out that genre and context matters here)

And actors.

Even the actors that don't have the proper physique or features to be fuckable are still far, FAR from hitting Ugly side of the man spectrum.

i kinda like the word man spectrum. i'll have to find some opportunities to use it in a sentence soon. man spectrum. :)

Seinfeld could never get made with that cast today.

I don't think this proves you wrong or anything. It's just interesting to think about.
