I mostly find them to be an obnoxious Snapewife. Whenever someone brings up Snape's wrongs they try to argue against it because they can't see Snape as anything but a victim. Honestly it's just tiring to argue against someone who's like a whiny brick wall.

I especially hate when people who defend Snape attack Neville in the process and justify Snape's treatment of him. I've had friends who experienced bully teachers. It's not fucking justifiable. It's downright hypocritical to decry James as Satan for bullying a peer while arguing that Snape bullying a student he had power over was acceptable.

James hating anon is an obnoxious little cockroach who can just shut their fucking hole as far as I'm concerned.

Neville was a child, and also affected by what happened to his parents in many ways. His memory was heavily altered because of the brutal torture of his parents. But even if he wasn't, he isn't at fault for being affected by Snape's bullying.

And you know what, I AM 'taking it out on Snape' because he was fucking responsible. He was an adult and Neville was a child under his care. Regardless of whether Snape was bullied by Gryffindors or not he has a responsibility to his students. He needs to grow up and not be a petty fuckwad. I don't know what fantasy universe you're in where Snape isn't responsible for his actions, but he is. It's not "taking it out" on Snape. It's holding him responsble for how he treated his students.

Your victim blaming is disgusting and you should be ashamed.

I can already tell you don't really care about victims of bullying as much as you care about pardoning Snape from his actions specifically. Because if you did you wouldn't be victim blaming Snape's students.
