The only reason I'm not excited by this movie is because when I was a child, my mom bought me a book with Polynesian legends, and Maui had a mother and sister, who were pretty important, and the sister was also a demi-God, with magical hair. But the trailer makes no mention of them and I suspect that they were erased and Maui is just a special snowflake.
