Yeah, it totally doesn't make sense for a villain to engage in sexual threats. Especially in entertainment meant to titillate through sex and violence.

Sure, it "makes sense".

It's also boring as fuck and makes you realize the writers don't actually know how to make a villain threatening without resorting to the laziest tactic out there. It's played out, is what I'm saying.

Well, see, I like sex and violence, so it's not played out for me or a bunch of other people who enjoy them as well. But hey, I guess we can't all be as highbrow and discriminating as you.
