I did think that was really odd but my knowledge about the DCU comes from movies and review channels.

I mean I gave you a heavily abridged version but that's really the most glaring part of the new additions to the film -- and one of DC's lowest points ever.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-09 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)The graphic novel starts with Batman visiting the fake Joker in the asylum and discovering he's escaped. The post-credits bit with Oracle was also not in the original story either.
