Re: Things you heard about in fiction, but didn't know were real
Also I'm not sure where you live, but most years it feels like summer is taking over. Sometimes it's like winter doesn't even happen, it's just a brief dull period where it's NOT summer but can't be fairly described as a traditional autumn, winter or spring.
I often say Cincinnati is a southern town and I stand by that -- and the weather has a lot to do with it.
Re: Things you heard about in fiction, but didn't know were real
(Anonymous) 2016-10-10 02:26 am (UTC)(link)I lived in Dayton for many years, so not that far from you both distance and climate-wise. But yeah, in recent years we've had mild winters and weird summers. This summer and last summer were the rainiest summers in my recent memory and the humidity was intense. That said, I'm in SE Ohio now and today was one of those perfect (IMO) days with sunny, crisp weather. It feels like autumn even though the trees are only just beginning to turn.
I'm pretty content in Ohio, but I hope you can get out and find some place you like better.
