most people probably won't assume you're kin with your avatar unless you start getting really weird about it. Lots of people on F!S (including me, haha) have images of characters as avatars, without it meaning anything deep.

That's a relief. I figured avatars were safe, but things like "Going camping for the weekend!" with a sketch of a gronkle carrying camping supplies is a somewhat common post. I just don't want to put up a constant disclaimer that I do not have a gronkle soul, or am I married on the astral plane to a gronkle.
