Ugh fleas

I visited family a few weeks ago and now my poor old-man-cat (and me I guess) have fleas. He's 10 now and in the 7 years I've had him, we've never had a flea problem. He seems so confused.

I knew I was in trouble when I stepped in my parents' house and my mom had a bowl of flea water on the arm of her chair for drowning tbe buggers as she found them. I saw one on me in the car, and one on me on the couch a few days later, and I'd really hoped they were anomalies tbat would be dead soon (or, the same one both times). But today I saw a several scurrying around his precious face and neck and I feel like a bad kitty mom.

Will get some flea stuff from vet tomorrow, but now I'm paranoid their infested in my couch and wherever else and this'll be a long drawn out process.

I love my family, but I had their filthy house. And cleaning it does no good. It's always back to shit by the 2 month mark. (Also I feeeeeeeel them, even though I'm sure it's just my imagination, at least part of the time.)

You shouldn't go over there if it's so filthy you're taking stuff home with you! tell your folks they need to visit you, or meet them somewhere else. :/

good luck getting rid of the little fuckers as fast as possible. As pests go, fleas are far from the worst ones you can get, but they still suck!
