Nah, he can't be bothered. Even when I've been specific as to what I want he waits until the last minute and everything's sold out. Once I marked the catalog page, circled what I wanted, and he still bought the wrong thing. He just doesn't care.

Not to be all judgemental about your relationship if it doesn't bother you... but that kind of lack of caring would annoy the shit out of me. :/ Like... it'd be different to me if he took an interest/tried and say, got you a scoop neck when you love v-neck, but to not even get it right when you've made that effort is like... maximum uncaring...

This makes me so sad, nonny. :( I don't want to rush to judgment but I worry about what it's like, being in a relationship with someone who doesn't care about something so basic, and doesn't want to put even a minimal amount of effort in to surprise you or make you happy. I've recommended this thread to other people on FS before, but:
