Totally agree with you on Spike. I also felt that way about Crowley from GO fandom.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-12 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? I always pictured Crowley/Aziraphale as sort of equal. Like... I don't see Crowley as OMG DOMINANT, but I don't really seem him as submissive either.

Crowley. Huh. I don't ... I wouldn't see him that way, but a lot of that is probably that I have such a thing for the idea of Aziraphale surrendering to Crowley. Because of the whole trust thing, an angel having that much faith in a demon and being willing to show it, and also because ... maybe a little bit in a topping-from-the-bottom sort of way, the idea of Aziraphale maybe semi-knowingly tempting Crowley with that, the little implicit hint of corruption and redemption and trading roles between them. That said, though, I also really like the idea of the reverse, the demon with millennia of hell-trained paranoia having trust enough in his partner to let Aziraphale take his defenses away, and Aziraphale proving worthy of it. So ... either way, really, and I like the idea of them trading it between them.

I don't know, I think I prefer them being equal. And no, I haven't spent a considerable amount of time thinking about this, why do you ask?

High five, anon! (Any fic recs if you read fic?) >.>;;

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
High five! (Unfortunately no. It's been years since I was actively in the fandom. I'll have a look to see if I've anything still saved, but given my organisational skills that's probably unlikely -_-;)

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
Aw. Yeah I never ventured into the fandom because I was scared of how bad it would be. XD If you find anything, yay! If not, no worries. :)

No way, the GO fandoms is the best I've been in. Lots of great fic.

I enjoy submissive Dean a lot, but I can see him as being dominant in the later seasons (especially MOC!Dean). Similarly, I have an easier time seeing Sam as submissive in later seasons.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and demon!Dean totally tops.

(Anonymous) 2016-10-13 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, what a nice contrast to the secret above. I like this one best.

With you on Spike 100%, OP. I also totally feel this way about Josh Lyman from The West Wing.
