Work spouses/siblings/BFFs, etc.

By which I mean those rare relationships you might have with a coworker that goes beyond "coworker" into some form of unusual intimacy, and yet you only interact at work. Tell me about 'em!

I have been on vacation since 9/23, and tomorrow is my first day back, so I decided to check my email tonight to see what I had missed. Welp, I just learned my "work brother" got a new job and his last day with us is Friday, and I feel gutted.

I had a work husband/brother at my old job. I still miss him. No one like that at my current job. I have good friends at this job and we're a great team, but it's not quite the same thing. He and I were always anticipating each other's needs.
