No, it's pretty common (and moreso among female fans of fandom to boot) to be WOO SEXUALITY but be GAH NO ACTUAL SHOWING OF THE SEX THAT FREAKS MY SHIT OUT

personally, it's so common that i'm pretty fucking tired of it (see: slash that has the characters kissing, lightly fondling, shirt off, but cutting off/blocking off past the hips, no showing of fucking, etc, etc - call it the BOYS FUCKING IS HOT BUT SHOWING THEM ACTUALLY HAVING PENISES IS SOMEHOW INEXPLICABLY GROSS phenomenon) but whatevs, this be a matter of individual taste

This doesn't just apply to slash, of course, but is just one example

So no, you're not the only one, but I suppose it depends on where exactly you draw the line of just how much sexuality is shown
